Mitch’s love for the outdoors began as a child living near a state park where he grew up hiking, fishing, kayaking, and shooting. Mitch was born and raised in central Ohio and now resides in Northeast Ohio with his wife and children. He enjoys fishing, kayaking, and hiking near Lake Erie and Mosquito Lake. Whether to tent camp with friends and family, to pray, or even to birdwatch, being in nature is where he feels most fulfilled!

Mitch holds a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife and Fish Conservation and Management from the University of Rio Grande and an Associate’s Degree from Hocking College for Fish Management and Aquaculture. While at Hocking, Mitch took a one-month research trip to Hailburton Forest and Wildlife Reserve in Ontario, Canada, to survey wildlife behavior and diversity. He has previously worked for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources’ Division of Wildlife and for an indoor saltwater aquaculture farm. He is now a licensed Realtor in the National Association of Realtors, a career that enables him to spend time being a father at home and help others get outside and enjoy nature!
